LASIK ~2 years ago • suspected Posterior vitreous detachment (PVD) ~1 year ago (tug sensation at back of eye, white flash, eye floaters • No retinal tear as of opthmologist visit 3 months ago
Current symptoms (right eye): • Intermittent blurred vision while reading • Sensation of tugging or pulling • Eyelid sometimes “catches” when opening • Occasional eyelid twitching
I have to make an added effort to read on computer screens (somewhat blurry even when I try to blink it away). Not debilitating but really irritating. Is that related to this visible muscle/under eye area issue?
No sudden vision loss, curtain, or flashing increase since PVD
Question: What is this and are they common post-PVD / post-LASIK issues (dry eye, eyelid mechanics, nerve irritation), and what would be reasonable to investigate or ignore?
The worst problem is the blurred vision while reading on computer screen.
