Hi I've been prescribed venlafaxine 75 and I'm finding that it makes me feel very wired , and kinda struggling with it because I'm a truck driver.

My question is could I half the tablets to 37.5 to try and ease the side effects ? Any help with this would be great.

Also I suffer with the dreaded headfog and a pins and needles sensation in my head if I'm not taking anti depressants , does anyone have a way of stopping these horrible sensations without being on antidepressants??? , I'm in the uk 🇬🇧 btw

Hi murv01, don't know if this will help, i was prescribed venlafaxine this morning and i have been told to take 37.5 2x a day so i suppose splitting it should be ok, i don't know about side effects yet coz i don't start them till tomorrow, hope this helps 😃

Good luck , I took 1 75 ml and it made me feel high as a kite , can't stay on them because I'm a driver , let me know how you get on , be good to know how long the side effects last
