Acid reflux causing stomach cramps??

I was just wondering if anybody experiences stomach cramps as a symptom of GERD? I have both GERD and IBS and I experience really severe stomach cramps that last for days. My doctor told me it was from my anxiety, and I know my anxiety makes both of those conditions worse.

So I was just wondering if any of you out there who also have GERD or acid reflux also deal with painful stomach cramping. Or maybe it’s the IBS?

Many years ago I had ibs which I was ill at least one day every week & was off sick & didn’t what to do until I bought a bio magnet bracelet this has helped me no end  I bought this bracelet in 2005 & have worn it ever since with no problems  x i now have silent reflux after being in hospital with pneumonia this was March this year, I thought it was asthma but no such luck x

Hi annie what are the symptoms of your silent reflux as I might have it too

Constant coughing thought it was my asthma playing up but saw the Specialist at the hospital no it’s silent reflux. Never heard of it before can’t taste anything it bypasses the tongue so there’s no burning like acid reflux.

Very similar to me . But mine also causes a lump sensation in throat and a cold minty feeling . Very annoying

Ive had the lump feeling along time ago as well that was down to my best friends hubbies dying I use to work with  her it was very stressful,That feeling that u can’t eat or drink was horrendous had the endoscopy they didn’t find anything.

I get stomach cramps sometimes a few minutes after eating...could be from having eaten or orange or tea and biscuits or meal...The cramps can last from 1 minute to 10 minutes. Cramps come especially quicker if I am bending over or lifting anything heavy .

I have GERD ,gastritis and esophagitis and sjogrens syndrome.... .which maybe the cause of all my stomach issues (said gastroenterologist)

I have worn magnetic bead necklace and bracelet for the past month. My symptoms  from sjogrens and stomach cramps have eased but not sure whether due to Baltic amber beads and/or the magnetic beads I wear or just the med for sjogrens !! or combination of all 3 or placebo effect ....either way I am not complaining if I continue to get better smile

Have LPR/Gerd and IBS

I have IBS for a very long time and  I get cramps

I developed IBS years before Gerd or LPR

I took my Bioflow magnet bracelet off one day all the problems I had returned so I just leave it on x I’ve had it 13 years it’s stainless steel so I don’t even take it off in the bath x it’s a life saver 😊
