Acupuntura - benefícios?

I'm going to try acupuncture in the next couple of weeks. Just wondering what I can expect from it - does it provide pain relief, and relieve other symptoms? Just wondering what the benefits are?

i found that it tends to work better for persivic symptoms , of the condition,

i am having a treatment myself this afternoon , i used to have two treatments aweek but it really wacked me out , for a couple of days .

there are points for fibro ,fatigue ,pain , bladder ,,etc but dont have to many done at once if your prone to fatigue start slowly , some points can make you jump and wince a bit but it will soon where of . just relax and breath for the most its a nice relaxing experience .regards tina .in yorkshire

Thanks Tina, that's good advice. Two treatments a week would be too expensive for me. I'm wondering if I could get two a month would it be enough.

lucky you! when i can afford it, i will do it again; before diagosed with fibro, i had terrible neck and shoulder pain and had it done along with chiropractor; it seemed to help and she would sometimes leave the small needles in the neck area until they dropped out on their own-- it felt good; after multiple sessions she finally 'cupped' the area and that really helped the pain for a long time; like i said, i would have it done again and i well when i can afford to

two a week was what i started out on ,but like i said it was to much for me

it totaly floored me . so i tried once a week still to much ,then i went to once a fortnight , which is a bout right for me . so yes i would say once a fortnight should be fine , but it will take time to feel any difereance , and like a lot of treatments can make you feel tired and sore for a few days.

yes the price is a problem its £40 a time here in scarborough

and i know it varies in other parts of the country.

but  ihope you can afford the treatments again soon .

Acupuncture is brilliant for pain relief. Try it with an open mind because we all experience therapies in our own way. I'm speaking after very positive experiences with acupuncture. Wish you all the best with it.

I unfortuantely had a panic attack because of it, so he had to whip them out pretty quick.  I think is was cos you can't move when they are in - silly me

Hi I went through NHS for 3 months and I got an awful lot of relief from lots of my symptoms, when my finances improve I will go again to someone. Good luck

i know ,i always seem to get an itchey nose when i have points done in my hand .  i have it done at home because it takes the stress out of traviling to get there, so iam calmer, and i can have it done in a chair and dont have to lie down which i find uncomfortable on my back .
