Is 100% organic Aloe Vera Gel safe to use on your vulva as I have heard this has very good healing properties? Does anyone else use this?
Hi, I saw your post whilst on here regarding eczema and just wanetd to tell about emu oil. I use it for my eczema because it's completely natural and safe to use on broken skin. It seems like LS has similar symptoms so I thought I'd recommend the oil to you. They give a free sample to anyone who asks so it's more than worth a try. I can imagine how uncomfortable and frustrating LS must be. If emu oil helps half of us sufferers then brilliant!
Hi. That is exactly what ive been wondering. We were on a hiking trip in Glacier Natl. park and i was so uncomfortable. Stopped at a health store and found Georges 98 percent aloe gel. It provided immediate relief. Have an appt. this coming Tues. At dermatologist and will ask her as i have seen studies saying aloe gel is a safe and effective alternative.
I went through a quart of aloe vera gel one summer when I had a swollen rash on my thighs. It was cool and soothing at the very least. I'm pretty sure it can't do any harm. It wouldn't say it's an alternative to the standard treatment of lichen sclerosus, though. I haven't used any since I was diagnosed (after many years of having LS).
