Growing up our daughter always has this issue in not being able to swallow a pill! Even with sauce, yogurt…nothing! Now she’s in university age 19 and still has this issue even for basic vitamins
So my wife and I started to try to find alternatives and for the past 4-5 yrs, she’s been eating chewable gummies for dialy vitamins, but doesn’t like sugar content either. The gelatin not good long term and she plays soccer/hits the gym so health is her thing.
So then she met someone in one of her classes that had the same issue and they got to researching alternatives, and stumbled onto dissolvable strips which can replace pills I guess? She got some from the UK to try and ended up being a solution. So now she went out and is starting her own brand for them lol ! She’s in pre-med up to her ears in work, projects, research/interning blah blah so not sure how she has the time Lol!! Anyway, it worked for her and her friend so has anyone tried this before?
These strips that melt in your mouth on your tongue instead of having to swallow? I know the solution is to learn how to swallow properly and try to avoid gag reflex which she gets all the time…but this seemed like a good alternative the more I started looking into it!
Anyone have any experience with these oral strips? Seems like they could work ![]()
