After 20 years taking blood presure meds (yes 20Years) at first 10 years just minor problems ,then last 10 you name it i have had it, all because had DVT in left leg , then put on presure meds.
Just me but i don't think Doctors know how to treat high blood pressure ,we are all on a big experement , If one tablet not working doctors try another,
Asprin 75mg. water tablets,calsium channel blockers,any of the Prils (mine Fossisnopril), cholesterol (simvastatin),
Just me but some of the bad ones ,first Thiaziad durectics they take out potassium , 2nd Asprin cause petechia (god knows how that affects stomache) over time , then Cholesterol tabs aches pains , then we have the Calsium channel blockers Amlodipine (just me but think causes CROHNS)
After years taking all these Tabs i now have,
three years of being diagnosed of having Crohns, GAstroentrolagist consultant , as decided that is AMLODIPINE that MIGHT be the problem(MIGHT) ,So as told GP to take me off AMLODIPINE for 6 months see how i do ,he will see me in late January 2018 ,been off Amlodipine since august .
Coming off Amlodipine is like stopping Caffine , OH the head aches, only after 7 weeks just started to subside,Then numerous trips to ENT for Sinuse problems .

They don't know how to treat it because they actually don't really even know what causes it.
But we're lucky they at least have all these pills to try - not that many years ago (well, 50-60 or so) they didn't have any, so they kind of ignored the whole issue.
So there's still a lot of voodoo involved, however much the doctor smiles at you.

It was after my doctor said , WE WILL TRY doubling your Fossinopril ,to 20mg see how that goes , then have blood test in about one weeks time see how you are, them words WE WILL TRY , who is the WE i thought just then , them words just made me think you know what , Its about time WE better start looking after myself. thanks ann

Vejo o problema em preto e branco nas minhas radiografias e onde estava o problema antes de ele tirar as radiografias, exatamente como mencionei ao médico. Estou cansado de ser drogado por médicos convencionais por causa da pressão alta e o quiroprático me mostrou exatamente onde está o meu problema, em vez de tratar apenas os sintomas, ele encontrou a fonte. Também me disse que isso afeta a fibrilação atrial e a taquicardia, algo que ele não sabia que eu tinha. O sistema nervoso central é vital e deve ser examinado, mas os médicos não fazem isso. Agora eu sei por que há uma luta entre os dois grupos há décadas. Tudo se resume ao dinheiro e à venda de drogas para um grupo e à busca pela causa e tratamento para o outro grupo.
