I recently got a hemroids from diarrhea which led to what I believed to be a yeast infection. I have taken a pill for the yeast infection and it seems to be getting better (no itching in that area anymore) and have been putting hemroid cream on my hemroids. I'm still very sensitive down there so I decided to take a picture to see how everything was looking and notices a bunch of red dots around my anus. I'm having anxiety thinking it may be herpies but I don't have any on or around my vagina, they are just around my anus except for one and I don't have anal sex. Could it still be herpies or could it be from the exesive wiping when I had diarrhea?
It's possible to get herpes around the anus without anal sex. Normally a first outbreak will occur where the virus entered the skin/body, but it can also happen close by. I would get those pimple-like bumps swabbed asap while they are still new and contain something. You have a couple on your labia, too, so they're not all around your anus.
I went to the clinic yesterday and they swabbed the area in order to test it for herpies. The doctor looked inside my vagina as well and said there was nothing inside but my vagina is very red and swollen (most likely from the yeast infection) and that he dosnt think its herpies but probably fissures from over wiping and wearing a thong during the hemroids and yeast infection. He prescribed me some laxatives to make it easier and less painful to poop and steroid cream in the meantime. I've also gone and purchased full cotton underwear. It seems to have improved a bit. I'm really hoping he's right and it isn't herpies. I never noticed any blisters and he didn't see any either so fingers crossed.
Thats def hsv2
How long does hsv2 usually take to heal? Everything I read suggests it would last a few weeks but it's almost all gone now and it's only been 5-6 days... I'm still waiting for my test results so I've been checking everyday and it's significantly improved.
It varies on serverity. With good health and some at surpressors that's possible. But usually with first outbreaks and natural remedies it would take anywhere between 4 days to a few weeks
For most people, around 2-3 weeks for a first outbreak. One week for recurrences.
My immune system is really low right now since I had an adrenalectomy just over a month ago. I'm surprised I'm healing this fast because I had complications with my hormone levels after the surgery as well. Would the hemroid steroid cream be helping it heal faster?
Yes it is also possible. Most ointments have similar effects
Especially when used or perscibed for the same region.
Actually, no. Steroid creams (without acyclovir) on active herpes lesions would typically worsen the condition, so maybe it's not herpes, plus the too short healing time for a first outbreak.
