Any help identifying this new growth is appreciated.
I will get it checked out via an ENT appointment as soon as possible.
btw I had both tonsils removed over 18 months ago for an HPV related issue.
This new discovery is worrying.

It has not changed much since posting and possibly, to my uneducated eye, the granular looking tissue is simply the result of the laser surgery I received for HPV+ tonsil SCC about 19 months ago.
My dentist thought it needed checking out by a specialist. I just hope my next ENT appointment provides a direct hands on examination rather than another telephone consultation.
