Ok... i have asked my dr to try and reduce my dose (starting to think to early) first few days were fine but at same time have been given antibotics for an infection by dentist wisdom teeth. My question is can antibotics interact with meds?
Feel like going backwards again and should double up on meds to take me back to 20mg a day and see dr. Or will this be short lived whilst infection clears.
I also snapped at work to point of arguing and looking at my arms my itching is terrible again... i dont know i do it until either bleed or marks pointed out or people telling me
Hello Clare. I have taken nti-bi's for dental infections while still taking Cit & had no reactions. I have also had a terrible rash that itched like crazy all over. I used E-45 Anti Itchin cream but it took a few weeks for it to settle down. I also scratced till I bled, it was horrible. By all means,go back to your GP, it's not a good idea, IMO, to play arond with drugs without telling the doctor first. I take Propanalol for the anxiety, whic works well for me. I am on 40mg Cit.

Any withdrawal will cause this reaction.
Morning Clare as far as I can tell from the leaflet that comes with Cita and from what I have read here especially, I think antibiotics are ok. I hope your Doctor is in a better position to advise you on this and whether to increase your dosage.
I'm soorry I cannot talk about this from experience, but I too am hoping to reduce starting next week and your post interested me.
I hope you get the answers you need soon from other forum-ers! (I think they may be having a lie in this morning! Lol!). Otherwise keep posting until you do, I'll be interested in what advice you get.

Severe itching can be a reaction of the drugs your taking, mention this to the GP.
Hi Clare, it could definately play havoc mixing the two unfortunately theres too many variables to know for sure even the doc's may only guess ? I would stick it out matey and wait for teeth to come right and once off the antibotics things should normalise? if your really worried talk to doc especially about the itching there could be a good remedy for that? after all its about being comfortable hang in there I wish you the best!!
