anxiety and odd sensation in face

i have severe anxiety where i can't relax drive or do anything. i have had pressure headaches since may 2017 and have had a constant stiff neck and non stop headaches that occurs on one side or another or both. it feels like a band around my forehead above my eyebrow. Recently i've had ear aches ringing in ears and now i have a heartbeat tingly numb sensation in my mouth and upper right cheeks. I, also, have pain behind my eyes but if my headache is one sided it's the eye on that side that feels that way! please if anyone can tell me what i can do to fix this or if this is serious asap?!!! thank you

The rubberband feeling seems to be pretty common. My understanding is that it results from a tension headache. Are you tensing your shoulders during the day? Sleeping in weird positions? Hunching over, or standing with bad posture?

This feeling will slowly go away. It isn't dangerous. You can take medicine to help with the pain and headaches. If the headaches continue, you can go to the doctor -- but s/he will probably test you for a sinus infection and give you some OTC meds. Headaches almost never suggest an underlying health condition.

Try not to worry. smile

Hi I too get severe muscle tension with my anxiety as I never relax, the headaches are like migraine, you explained them well. I've had anxiety for years and have so many symptoms many of which I've learned to cope with. I did try meds once for the headaches and muscle tension but they also made me feel relaxed and numb, my doc was scared I could start to take to many as I had never felt relaxed before ( thought great) but he saw I could easily start to depend on them. Have you explained these symptoms to your doctor. It's so horrid when you feel like this and just want something to ease the pain( and of course worry) I have lots of symptoms that come and go, I think the worst is my anxious obsessing head that never stops, the racing heart , and the muscle tension/headaches, ❤️
