Anxiety-Constant Dizziness?

So I’ve been having horrible anxiety for the past 6 months. I’ve been on Lexapro 10mg for it and it seems to help a tiny bit but it doesn’t help most of the physical symptoms I get. For instance, the one bothering me the most.. constant dizziness/lightheaded feeling. When I say constant. I MEAN CONSTANT. I can hardly stand for very long without feeling like I’m gonna faint. Now passing out has becoming the biggest fear of mine. This happens without me even feeling anxious. Has anyone experienced this before and what has helped it? I’m so tired of it. I’m seeing a Neuro tomorrow for my constant ongoing bad headaches so hopefully we’ll have answers.

I get this all the time do not worry, I’m having cbt at the moment and fainting is now my biggest fear to, they’ve told me having anxiety is actually a good thing it protects us from danger it’s just in our cause we have it extreme they told me it’s part of the symptoms of anxiety is dizziness and your not going to faint unless you have low blood pressure or dehydrated so make sure you drink plenty of fluids it’s something about adrenaline and the blood has to be rushed to the brain which can make you feel lightheaded or something like that but trust me you won’t faint I have this to just keep thinking it’s just anxiety protecting me the more you think in to it the more your going to feel dizzy if you get me. I do hope you get better though😀

Do you have balance problems or jelly legs

Yeah man...preaching to the choir. I used to think I would fall on my arse all the time. It stopped when I started on setraline and has now returned after coming off it. Normally happens at work for me which is reallly convenient. haha. I will walk along and then start to feel my legs go from under me. I almost laughed when it returned. What else can you do. Stay strong x

Constant.
