Hi. I have been suffering from anxiety for a few months now but I have never felt dizzy or lightheaded, but started a few days ago l. It is so bad that it feels like I'm going to faint but never actually do. Can this be a symptom for anxiety
I do have this symptom also along with feeling kind of detached at times from the situation I am in. According to my family doctor this is a very common reaction so you are not unusual!
I very often have this symptom. My anxiety flared up again from one evening where I went faint, dizzy and disorientated. Mine gets so bad sometimes that I can't see properly, and I feel like I am walking on a boat or that I am going to fall over etc. It's horrible, but I have had numerous tests and trips to A&E and apparently it is a common anxiety symptom.
Yes that is exactly how I feel also! I am not happy someone else has this symptom but I am glad to know that I am not alone with it. I am very nervous today as I am starting a new job and I have been not working for some time and just caring for my own grandson. I am really panicy and worried everyone will see it and know
Hi
I have them for 6 maybe 8 months. my hand/ arm at times suddenly weakened. For some reason that doesn't fear me..my vertigo decreased pretty much none since I don't fear them..finally. they still there if I decide to take notice when they flare up which is now and again, very much vaguely and fleeting in background same with jittery feeling. Fear stressy only increase them. It just increase or decrease of itself. They all on spectrum. It the constantly/ linger that scary and not good effect body. You will not faint unless you give in unless no drink food!.
I went ' blind' few times due strong vertigo and bad panic attacks.. standing waited a bit..refused to react then carry on.
Hey Rochelle,
Yes, this can be caused by anxiety. You could have an imbalance, you may have an inner ear infection that’s causing this. Pressure in your ear can cause this symptom. I had this and my doctor told me to take an allergy pill. I’m currently taking Zyrtec.
Dizziness is one of my worst side effects of anxiety, it’s so annoying but it’s usually when I’m super tired xx
