Anxiety symptoms lasting for 3 weeks now?

Hello! Im 18 female and I'm begging for help at this moment. I've been expeirencing these symptoms for 3 weeks now. I'll just start off by listing my symptoms. (That was so hypochondriac of me lol) Anyway, I've been experiencing, slight chest pain on and off, shortness of breathe, rapid heart beat, shakiness, my muscles tense up a lot, this feeling I'm not sure how to describe but it's like a wave of something going over my upper body, dizziness, tinglyness on and off in arms and legs and sometimes scalp, fatigue, also this is a new symptom for me ur I feel like a cold tingly wave feeling rush through my whole body maybe three times in a row then it stops. This only happens every so often. I also feel like I'm floating sometimes. In general I feel bad as well. These symptoms all together are scaring me and I'm not sure how much longer I can take it. Its making my anxiety ten times worse and it's hard for me to function just sitting down. I stay home alone a lot of the time and it's terrifying me to be home alone with these symptoms because I keep getting the feeling it could be serious but I also think that's just my anxiety talking. All I do is sleep now because I'm tired of experiencing these feelings. Please please please try to give me a piece of mind. These symptoms happen on and off all day long every day for the past 3 weeks. I've been to the doctor and have had blood work done and everything was perfectly fine and my doctor said it's most likely my anxiety but having these symptoms all the time every day is freaking me out. I have a cardiologist appt because my doctor said to go just to give me a piece of mind. I'm also making an appt for a neurologist. This is making me live in constant fear worse than I did before all these symptoms happened. Is it just my anxiety making these anxiety symptoms seem like a serious problem? Have you had symptoms like this for a long period of time? I just need a piece of mind because this living in fear isn't helping me at all. Any advice is also very much appreciated! Thanks for the help!

It sounds like symptoms of anxiety.  Except for me I get hot prickly feeling.  Do you currently take anything for your anxiety?

Get yourself an anxiety and fear workbook they are in book stores and online,  they have lots of ebooks and audiobooks about panic attacks and anxiety disorders. The web sometimes makes light of  it and how it really feels. Forums are good to read through theres lots of them in the web, you are so not the only  one. Forty million others like you but therapy is really important and needed to forge thru this, eventually with help and learning about it you will learn what works for you to calm you.  Some help is first knowing what you have and are dealing with. Panic disorder or anxiety disorder, then understanding adrenaline rushes with anxiety, then self calming tools. Belly breathing, mindful excercises, mediations, yoga positions, cbt, dbt, journaling all your thoughts and symotoms, grounding, so much tools all on utube to seek out as well.

When you have a panic attack..that rush and wave of fear and your body flipping out rationale isnt really functioning but these cycles are actually 10-15 minutes long but they recycle if your fearing it. The body assumes more danger because you are being fearful. Vicious cycle.  That why therapy is very important here very. To helo you keep sane and comfort you,

stay far away from caffiene and any kind of energy drinks. Last thing you need.

Watching tv can even bug you so keep shows light and airy. Avoid the news its all fear based. Whatever your favorite kid tv shoes were find them and watch them. Its helps calm the mind and body. Reminds your mind of a simplier sweetier time,

it will get better, its just not something that goes away like a cold. You are very hyoersensitive right now, all your senses are at their peak so its easy to get rattled or overwhelmed.

sending you a big hug. Learn, learn and then learn more. Knowledge is power with all this. Science does not know why it triggers or how to cure it but they are working on it. Its just like one day all of a sudden something just becomes the last straw and it appears. Its gets manageable.

some celebrities even have it adele the singer, demi lovato, emma stone i believe. Look up celebrities with anxiety disorders. Its helpful to see your not alone.

I don't take anything for it. I will look into it though. Thank you!

Thank you so much! This is very helpful! I will do more research on it as well! Thanks again!

Can i just ask if you drink alcohol or caffeine?

Hello sweetheart and I hope you are feeling better today. You've gotten some good advice already. Please know that you are never alone in this. No one here knows each other personally but that's alright. We're humans experiencing similar things and wanting to help as well as be helped. 🌼

Definitely giving up caffeine is a great idea. Drink tons of water as well. Staying hydrated is so important. Belly breathing, praying and/or meditating, whichever makes you feel good. Sometimes lighting a little tealight and just focusing on the flicker of it, while you practice deep, slow breathing helps too. I am on medication for severe anxiety and panick attacks but not saying you should or should not go with medication. I also make myself walk, twice a day on bad days. Its hard to make yourself start but once you get going, wow, the energy it burns. Getting yourself physically tired is such a good feeling. Good wishes and peace to you. 😉
