anxiety

Hi there. I'm switching from 40mg Citalopram to 50mg of Sertraline. Having suffered from anxiety for many years I think my body has become to used to Citalopram. I feel like I'm so detached from everyone and struggle remembering things that I know I can remember (if that makes sense). I know how most of you all may feel but from experience it does get better and I'm hoping its the same this time round for me

Hi

I feel the same..so im assuming you had these feelings before with feeling detached/memory and you got better.

I'm on day 4 of Sertraline now and had no major side effects apart from being really sleepy! Starting to feel more attached to everything. Have felt this before so fingers crossed the new tablets kick in soon.

Hope it works for you. Good luck ☺

Its taking longer this time round but yes it all did pass. Just feel stuck in a rut at the moment as I'm putting alot of pressure on myself to feel the way I used to. Sometimes I feel I have no concept of time and that my mind just keeps on going and wont slow down. I want to feel like everyone else and how I used to but just have to accept it takes time!

I'm on day 6 of sertraline has big anxiety yesterday not to bad today also feeling very tired and dizzy although had the dizziness before I started I'm hoping that the tablets will work I want to get on with my life !!!! Good luck hope they work for you

From experience the tablets take a while to kick in as I remember when I first started taking Citalopram. Was panicky and horrible for weeks but when they kicked in I felt the best I had ever felt so hoping its the same this time round! Good luck to you to!
