Sometimes on this forum I can find it very taxing, it is because these conditions can seem to be hypothetical and this makes problems in understanding the sufferer.
In my case I know the cause and I undestand what I need to do when I become anxious, As you most know my mental health issues are mostly caused by pain and discomfort, I really have nowhere to go generally an the only time I see my Doctor is when I have flareups. Sometimes or should I say most times my appointments are for conditions that will pass me by so I try and ration my visits to Surgery, sometimes without success.
We and our health conerns are all different and we all need to be able to walk in others shoes to understand their needs.
I never want to be hard or unsympathetic and I hope generally I manage that. Sad to say when ill myself sometimes I feel a lack of understanding.sounds in my words, that is unintensional. I have good and bad days like everyone else on site.
I like to try and help

Hi BOB!
I just wanted to say that you were very helpful on my last two posts, and not unsympathetic. I was super relieved that at least one person responded to my first one because I was freaking out.
I agree that we all need to walk in each others shoes and realize that people are different and have different reasons for their mental health issues. Just because people don't have physical reasons or manisfestations, doesn't mean their mental health problems are any less real. Sometimes, it's just a chemical imbalence in the brain. For me, my recent bought is also brought on by a physical health issue, as well as PTSD.
So don't feel like you aren't doing a good job helping or anything. I think we all have trouble understanding other people's problems because they're not something we've experienced ourselves. I'm sorry that you have so much pain and discomfort too, and hope that there will be eventual relief.
Also, sorry if this post was not helpful at all! I tried. Please keep continuing to post and help people!
Thank you for your kind words
BOB
