i can't take Rx blood thinners since I have diverticulosis, therefore, I am very prone to diverticulitis, which can be caused or exacerbated by Rx blood thinners. Would anyone know an alternative? I have paroxsymal a fib. Thanks in advance.
I have diverticula the problems but I take the blood thinner Eliquis and thankfully I am fine

I took Eliquis for a month and it gave me hives along with gastrointestinal problems. pradaxa made me I'll as well. What a canumdrum. I am glad it is working for you though.
It's so miserable when the medication causes problems. I had rivaroxaban last year and it caused a bleed which was frightening, ramapril made me feel awful, and now I have perindopril and that is making me so tired yuk!!!

You bet it could be a lot worse. I called my Dr. And asked about this, and she said I should just keep taking 81 mg go aspirin. But if a fib lasts longer than 24 hrs then something will have to be given. I am paroxsymal a fib and don't have it more than 3 hrs when it does happen. And it only goes to 125 or so. So I think I might just take vit e and evening primrose, now and then.
Just searching the net for ideas.
