Howdy, So I had two fibroids removed 10-days ago. My fertility doctor would like me to undergo the above scan in order to assess healing and whether there is any scar tissue following my procedure. This procedure is commonly used to get a better view of the uterus to rule out fibroids, polyps and uterine scar tissue (Ashermans disease). Have any of you ladies experienced the above scan? If so, what were you experiences? What were the results and was it painful. I’m scheduled for one in a few weeks.. I’ve had heavy periods for awhile so today I had the ultrasound and there was 3 small fibroids. The Dr said since my lining is so thick, they need another test to see what’s going on. There was also a mass of something too so she wants to double check what it is— hopefully just a polyp. I don’t think it’s painful.
