Hi ladies after being on Fem seven Conti happily for 8 months, it's no longer available due to manufacturing problem.
Ive been prescribed the twice a week Everol Conti, the ingredients are different but it's closest to fem seven.
Anyone on the Everol to let me know how they are doing please?. Thanks
Hi Twiggz, I have been on Evorel conti since I was 63 (66 now) I needed them initially because I was sufferinf from awful flushes and night weats which Evorel stopped in a few days! After approx 6/7 years I cut them in half to see how well I coped on a lower dose. All was well for yeatds until Oct 15 when my GP moreorless demanded I xome off them due to my age. I tried/failed/all sypmoms returned with a vengeance so I slapped on a full patch which was now too much for my body... I have been slowly cutting small slices off it for months and after one and a half years of hormone hell (spotting/bleeding/aches and pains) I have just cut my patch down to half again and hoping that this low dose will again work well for me. Be careful with this patch it will solve your flushes and other symptoms but I truly believe a lower dose enough to cope with your symptoms would be better.
Twiggz that should be *53 (not *63)
Thank you pat! I did notice there's twice the eostridiol in this one than fem 7 and you use two a week! Would I be better with using half a patch or leaving one patch on for a full week would you say?..
I would suggest you use the half patch twice a week. They only have 4 days worth of HRT in them, so using just one will give you wirhdrawal bleeds as you wont be getting any HRT for a few days. Keep me posted please.
