Sorry for the tmi! But I was put on propranolol and have been suffering from constipation! Just wondered if anyone else has had this? (Prunes help)

The one thing most common with constipation for any reason is not drinking enough water. We all need to be drinking one half our body weight in ounces every day. Plenty of water in the colon softens and pushes feces out of the body.
Prune Juice is the best. Drink one glass before going to bed and it will do the magic. First time it may take 3-4 days befor you get regular but once that period is over you can bet to have a bowl movement every morning. Good luck.
Charlotte, I was just researching this because I was just extremely constipated. I've been on propranolol for 3 weeks now and I hope this won't be a regular thing. Have you found a cure for it or get on another medication to keep you regular ? It is listed as a side effect. Let me know thanks!
