Anyone recently had a Big Toe Joint Replacement?

I had Big Toe Replacement Op 10 weeks ago, I am still in pain and also have Tendonitis. I go to physio and can bend my toe, but the pain is no better than before the op. Hoping its because its still early days, love to hear from anyone that's in the same situation

Hi, No I had the Rotoglide Joint Replacement. Have you had similar operation?

HI Yes I had both joints replaced but the Moje is ceramic not metal and plastic, I had no pain at all and got full mobility back very quickly  The operations were done in 2008 and 2009.  I think that you need to talk to your surgeon.

Hi Thanks for reply, glad yours was successful, surgeon said they only insert metal and plastic now, iv got an appointment soon for another xray.
