Taking Sylvester 40mg for 2 years and before that 80 mg for 10 yrs. Can I reduce it to 20mg due recent leg pain

Had you no pain or muscle issues whilst on the higher dose for all that time? My personal view on statins is that they are a menace, so reducing them would be my choice but you need to make the decision based on your own circumstances.
You could try it I aren’t sure if you can snap these pills or not I would get a smaller dose one, it’s up to you at the end of the day. They definately have side effects even the lower dose. I was on 20mg and came off them.
