Hello I have had Rheumatoid arthritst since 1888 however about 18 months ago I discovered I had a low white cell count of 0.8. I was feeling really unwell and that had dropped to 0.3 and I had the weirdest markings on my legs. My rheumatolgist thought it might be my hydroxychloroquine so took me off it and put me on steroids. The blood markings went away quickly.
Eventually I was refered to haematology and after loads of blood test I was diagnoed with the autoimmune version of Neutrpenia ad a problem in the bone marrow making new red blood cells.
Also while all this was going on I had a rash on my body too and still have . No one seems to know why this is. So does anyone else out there have this symptom too.

Little red marks under the skin. All over the stomach top of legs also on back and chest a bit and some on arms. No itching Does not disappear when pressed. Was at emergency medical yesterday as I was running a temperature for no appaent reason and doctor was worried so they told her to send me over and I had more blood tests, chest Xray. Nothing. So they gave me antibiotics just in case something was brewing. They were all puzzled by the rash. ?????
I have an heamatology appointment too on Friday as I have been feeling fatigued and lost weight, plus pain in bones and rash. My gp was reluctant to give me a referral to heamy because my blood work was good , but my red blood cell hemocrit and hemoglobin are a little elevated! My doctor didn't know what my rash was either, he said maybe phollyculities but I worry is petachiae!!!
