Baby was born missing all toes on one of foot

Hi,my girl born missing all toes on one foot, does anyone know any solution for that,or she can walk normal, any help pkease

That breaks my heart. I would suspect the pediatricians and specialists will have solutions for you. Is your baby ok otherwise?

They can't do nothing, they said she should walking normal and no one notice while she will with shoes advise just put something into shoe to fill empty place :-/ but I think should be something what we can do,like cosmetic surgery or something else

Overvise she's perfectly healthy, thank you :-)

Hi Redada.

I can give you some hope here. The limbs on my left side are both deformed. My arm ends at the elbow, and I have three fingers coming from the arm itself, with no hand. My left foot has three toes, but the second and third toe are merged into one big toe. My foot is teeny compared to the right one (7 sizes different), and the heel is turned out, with no ankle joint. My left leg is about 1 to 2 inches shorter than the other. I use one crutch to help me walk because my leg is shorter.

Because my leg just hangs there when standing full height, I generally do not bother with a shoe on my foot. I can walk (with a noticeable limp) but it is easier with the one crutch and just letting my leg/foot hang. Since I don't have a hand on my left side, while my fingers do have some use, I cannot use a crutch on my left side.

When I go to a formal event I usually put on a stocking or sock.

Yes, some things are hard, but it's not the end of the world. I get looks and stares, but who cares. I am happily married with 2 kids, and a killer job.

I am sure she will be fine. They can provide a special insert in her shoe, and a brace which will help her walk. They can also provide prostehtics which will her walk. Whatever they do: DO NOT LET THEM TALK YOU INTO AMPUTATION!

What a lovely story Becky!! Life does go on and you sound like an amazing woman!!!

Thank you very much ☺ I know it's not the end of world, but it's still scary for future

It must have been a shock because all new Mom's count fingers and toes however, you and your baby will do just fine!!!
