Bad Dreams

hey everyone, I just need some reassurance.. is it normal to keep have weird/Bad dreams on antidepressants I’m on citalopram 40mgs I normally have the odd bad dream hear an there but this past week iv had one every night is this the norm? does anyone else have dreams like this? is it harmful?.

Weird dreams are normal it’s common with people on antidepressants. I have them most nights. How long have you been on the meds?

i never really had them on cit but get horrible ones now im withdrawing, when i actually sleep that is! x

hey been on these ones say 10 weeks or so now had to up them as I had a really bad relaps I couldn’t get out of!!

I had very vivid dreams for the first few months on citalopram but they have settled a lot. Just the occasional one now.

hey fair enough iv been on citalopram quite awhile now but just upped my dosage this year to 40mgs just weird the last 4 or 5 days it’s been proper bad dreams…
