Hi everyone. has anyone experienced the feeling of bad taste in your mouth? like the thing you ate last is still in your mouth hours later? and no matter how much water i drink it won't wash it off . I though maybe it had something to do with dry mouth cause i suffer from it. anyone?
You're not alone Mika I too get that. I notice it more in the evening. As for the dry mouth, that's usually when I'm at work and I think anxiety is a factor in getting dry mouth. I'm fine when I am relaxed. Drink sips of water for the dry mouth, and I hope someone can advise about the after taste feeling as I'd like to know how I can get rid.

Have you looked at Sjogrens syndrome? Dry mouth and dry eyes are main symptoms, it's an autoimmune illness and I think, but open to correction, that steroids are prescribed for it. Should def mention it to your doc next time you're there.
I have had a metallic taste in my mouth for about two years, it is believed to be caused by my meds but no one has been able to say which one! I have found that The Breath Co. Mouth Wetting Lozenges which are mandarin and mint flavour have worked well for me to get rid of the taste and dryness in my mouth - there are loads of other breath freshener products but I have tried a number and this one works best for me. I get something similar which comes and goes. At times I cannot eat spicy foods. Even the mild stuff. My mouth has a bad taste but worst of all I dribble out the corners of my mouth. From this I get an exterior rash which is most difficult to control. The best thing I have found so far is Goanna oil.
Is this similar to what you get.
