Hi just wanted to come here and see what your opinions are on this.
I’ve had bartholin cysts for about a year now, I don’t own a bath and have no way to sitz but have been trying warm washcloths when they get bad, they’re not infected nor painful just a little irritated sometimes when I’m out walking.
I recently (2 weeks) had a surgery done which was done the same day I saw my doctor. I think they made an incision, drained some and stitched me up. If there’s meant to be a small drainage hole there I can’t see one so I don’t know if that failed or if that was their intention,
I’m wondering what I should do next because the cysts are back and the small one on the other side has gotten larger,
Do I go back? Will swimming make it worse if it’s BOT infected (is that a bad idea) or do I just wait till I’ve moved house in 6 months which has a bath to see if I can self treat that way for a few months.
