HI my heart goes out to you, i had open surgery through my tummy button. i was saved open surgery and a large scar. only had a drain for 24 hours that was enough and terribly unpleasant experience.
also I experienced a suspected Bile duct infection two years ago, my temperature went to 39 and i was admitted to hospital.
i was placed on Iv fluids and antibiotics for 5 days until my temperature had reduced and i was safe to go home.
please make sure you go to your nearest A & E don’t take any chances with this, you need a health professional to look at you and possibly need treatment. please let me know how you are

faith in, hes been amazing and he confirmed i had a mild episode of cholangitis lasting the night. as a result of the drain removal. naturally i had no appetite for a couple of days but fingers crossed I’m now feeling and have managed to eat and drink normally. I would not hesitate to go to A&E if i encountered any other symptoms.
