Brain Fog? PLEASE HELP

Hi there, I was a hard cannabis smoker for about 2 years. I had no problem with weed the entire time. One night (5th October 2020) I had a bad panic attack where I genuinely thought I was going to die. When I woke up the next morning my head felt heavy and my vision seemed somewhat blurred and everything seemed dull, inability to focus or concentrate. It's very hard and confusing to explain all the symptoms if I'm being honest. I still feel like this now and its coming up to the 6month mark. I find it very hard to do even get out of bed some days! Yes I have seeked help but it's so hard right now with covid-19 and that stuff. ive had my eyes tested my teeth checked and they say everything seems to be fine and keep brushing it off but i know my body and mind and i know this is not ok. They told me its due to anxiety or depression. In reality im not even a "severely" anxious person i get nervous about little things sure but all around im an outgoing person. I'm not depressed at all either. When this first happened I quit smoking weed and fags for 2-3 months and saw no progress, so somewhat started again on/off. I have a good diet. I do like my junk food as well. My job is very physical and is basically exercising and i was told exercising would help to which ive had no luck. Has anyone ever experienced this if so how long did it take to heal? what is the actual cause behind it? im just so confused and lost.

it will wear off eventually. the weed probably triggered a panic/anxiety episode. it can take a while to resolve if its severe.
maybe the weed had something extra in it that didnt agree with your brain. keep in mind that weed absolutely can cause changes in the brain, regardless of people saying its a safe drug.
you could look for virtual counseling which works great. you need support now. you need to talk to someone who can help.
my suggestion is to stop using weed altogether . we only get one brain and need to take care of it.
worst thing to do is overthink this and prolong healing. get on you tube and listen to breathing exercises to relax the brain. listen to the anxiety guy too. . the blurred vision, lack of concentration etc is due to the panic And anxiety that affects the nerves .
you can turn this around and it may take time so get the professional help. you will be ok! ive had similar symptoms due to long term anxiety. they are very common and not harmful.

thank you its appreciated. you say you had similar symptoms, how long did it take to heal?

well everybody’s different. Some people it only last a couple weeks to a month or so. Mine lingered on for quite a while because I’ve had anxiety since around the age of six. So it built up and built up and when I was in my mid-20s I had a breakdown and had all the symptoms that you have., Plus more. So mine went on quite strongly for several months at least however I still had lingering symptoms off and on when I would become anxious about something.
it was never as bad as the first episode
Basically I had to learn how to calm myself down in order to get the symptoms to diminish or go away.anxiety is some thing that I will always have and to some extent I will always have some symptoms here or there but it’s not horrible. It’s been many years for me. But I got anxiety through heredity. so for me it’s just like any other chronic condition like high blood pressure or diabetes etc. I manage it pretty well. Counseling also helps.
To be honest to this day I still might get a lightheaded , ringing in my ear, or get some muscle twitching at times , They don’t scare me and I do ignore them because I know they’re harmless.
learning how to manage it all is key to feeling better.
