Burning pain

i have had a right thr 3 years ago and now need the left one replacing ,
i am experiencing the most agonising burning pain down my leg with pins and needles in my foot .
it is unbearable and i do not know how to manage it.
has anyone else suffered this type of pain ?

Is the pain down the back of your leg? I was just wondering if it might be sciatica.

i initially thought so but now i think it is linked to my hip
my scan shows bone on bone
whatever it is it is excruciating and i do not know how to manage the pain
it goes when i sit down or lie down and is much worse later in the day

sounds like mine used to feel before surgery. i used to take 15mg codeine and 1g paracetamol. if that didn’t work took another codeine. i found that a low carb/moderate protein high fat diet ie. Keto helped a lot in reducing inflammation.

The fact it goes when you lie or sit down does indicate it could be something to do with movement and something may be pressing on something when you stand but is not if you sit or lie. I may be totally wrong of course.
