I switched over from a fiberglass cast to a cam boot yesterday and started walking, it was a little uncomfortable but with the help of one crutch it was okay. Today I woke up and tried to walk and it is quite painful. Is this normal ? Should I expect this will be a reoccurring thing?

Usually when you go into a boot from a cast you start gradually bearing weigh over a 4 week time period. You could try using 2 crutches and ease into full weight bearing over time.
