To quote Prof Sir William Osler, a famous physician, “The man who knows syphilis knows medicine.”
So the answer to your question is YES, it’s possible but not probable.
Far more common causes of urethritis are gonorrhoea (GC) and chlamydia (CT). I’m perplexed as to why you’ve not been tested for syphilis.
Most STD clinics routinely screen for HIV and syphilis in the blood test along with GC and CT tests.

have you any idea how long utheritis would last? basically iv never had pain or discharge. its been ongoing for near 3/4 months now. also never had a chancre or ulcer like the say is the main symptom? does this sound like it could be syphilis?
