For about 5 years or so on and off my ears feel odd (not quite earache as very mild) and my main worry is if I really concentrate, when I swallow it feels like I can't actually feel food going down one side of my throat unless I squeeze slightly at the top, but I can feel it going down the other. Now I've started to think about this again and started panicking. I stopped thinking about this for about 2 years. Has anybody ever had this? Or am I just losing the plot?
Calm down, relax. Its most likely your ears causing the sensation in your throat. You have fluid in your ears and maybe an ear infection as well. Its allergy season, knowingly or unknowingly you may be allergic to the pollen, mold spores, and dust flying around this time of year. It probably kicked off your sinuses and you started producing mucus that is trapped in your head and ears. Try an over the counter allergy/sinus medication and get a decongestant as well. if after taking these meds and if you dont feel an improvement, go see a doctor and get your ears checked, and possibly some amoxycylin might be needed to cure what could be an ear infection.
