I had the left eye done on monday 8th june and my eyedight is still cloudy is this normal , any one got an idea how long it takes to clear .the other thing I am keen to do is start driving again, how soon
Each time my vision was perfectly clear the next day when I took the patch off. My only real problem was irrtation and dryness from the drops after the first eye was done.
They had given me a 24/7 contact number for any problems. I did use it on the Saturday and spoke to a nurse. She offered to have a doctor available if I went to the hospital but I said it was not that urgent and waited till the Monday when they gave me anti biotic drops without preserative in them and other drops for the dryness.
I had cataract removed from my right eye in February this year. Licence renewed recently but have not driven since operation because optician thinks i might have trouble with distance sight. Check with your optician. As long as he says it is OK to drive, it is.
