Any idea what you think causes Meniere's?
Honestly I think Menieres Disease is a small name for a combination of alot of problems and hopefully more research will be done to absolve the problems for those that are continuing to have medical problems associated with it.
I've heard everything from fruits to nuts on what may or may not be the cause...but the other problem for many people is it dosnt seem to go away and it can cause other problems like anxiety...depression...hearing loss etc...it's a multi faceted problem. I hope more can be done to support those such as myself with this illness.

Fluid buildup can be a definite problem.but not the entire cause. Fluid can cause vertigo I agree but many facolors need to be ruled out and monitored. In many people fluid buildup has proven to not be a problem. Dieuretics and other meds plus change in diet can try to help...and possibly this proves very successful for some...but it iseems there are many factors to consider Many patients never know what the main cause is .
I am a patient diagnosed with Menieres 10 years ago and I have been to many very qualified Neurolgists...ENT's...the list of great specialists goes on...however I am basically at square one although my episodes are not as severe as in the 1st 3 years. If you have any new ideas for me I would love to hear them.
