Hey I’m 17 and for the last 2 years I’ve been smoking on the weekends pretty socially pretty heavily on most weekends. Now whenever I have one cigarette I will get Instant pain which feels like it’s coming from my heart and chest area and may last for a couple of days. It really scares me and I’m just wondering if anyone has an idea of what’s going on
Yup smoking is bad foryou, that's what's going on, you are probably the author of your own misfortune. Stop the smoking and in all probability your body might recover. If you don't, emphysema. Cancer of the lung, foul breath, could all be yours, Be more sociable by stopping and saving some poor medic the stress of telling your parents you had died of a coronary.
I had the same thing and had to quit after 14 years. Everybody has a different level of tolerance, ours happens to be low. After that the pain persisted for the next five months. Then one day i just decided to massage my inner left pec on top of some bump no matter how much it hurt for a good twenty minutes. Next day the pain was gone! I tried a few cigarettes after that but noticed the pain returning so i do not touch them any more.
