Hi all.
I get chest pains. Mainly on the left side.
Its like stubbing with knife.
We believe im showing symptoms of reflux disease. Had xray and endoscopy blood tests ....
They found mild irritation and swelling with some normal looking cells multiplication. I was diagnosed with nothing. Im waiting to see a specialist as in pain often and its been months.
My pains often start by moving my torso. Rotating it or raising arms above head.
Does anyone have that?
Im on meds i sleep upright. Trying my best to eat what i should. Keeping stress down.
Pls tell me im not on my own.

Started with Costco then heartburn now reflux
Is that yr experience? If so how did u treat it and did u heal up?
Still going through it - it's not cardiac so I put ice pack on chest or those arthritis rubs - swim - stretch - mine has subsided - now heartburn feels better - watching what I'm eating etc and trying to swim or move in water helps chest muscles
Now stuck with acid reflux - debating whether to try ppi - trying natural first - digestive enzymes- gly licorice - probiotics
Doctor wants to try 8 weeks ppi but heard horror stories of rebound acid so very hesitant of withdrawal - found it always starts from being very aggravatated or stressed

I been like this 9 months.
Ppi made me better but i think they dont know the real cultprit behind chest pains and reflux. I dont think im healing and if so. Its incredibly slow.
When i cut down on meds i get more pains.
I couldnt cope without them. If u having reflux or excess acid and lifestyle changes dont work u either grab meds or supplements. U dont want the acid cause more damage.
Licorice dgl did nothing for me really. Be aware that it increases vlood pressure. If yr presure is higher it may not be a great option.
No the Dgl will not increase blood pressure that is why you buy that kind only real licorice will do that
That came out of doctors mouth. That is scary though.
I lost faith in NHS.
I have no idea what will happen with me.
Im sorry. I find positivity dificult as im esperate and no one listens. Im just being fobbed or passed.
I was healthy. When i stopped smoking this came up.
So sorry - you need to keep trying - second opinions - do your own research - you must be your own advocate - don't settle
I wont settle.
I been to doctors so often they think im crazy or a wimp.
After about 15 visits in pain and tears they decided to refer me again.
They know im in pain.
My appointment just to talk to specialist is in mid september.
Its beyond my comprehension.
