Hi, i have only just started taking 10mg, after staring at the box for a month because i was too scared to take them! So far so good.
The only side effect i really have is the drowsiness, on day 1 I did feel a bit jittery the next morning, almost felt hungover, but by day 2 i didn't have any symptoms.
seriously please don't take too much notice of the bad comments regarding these tablets, especially if you are already prone to anxiety like myself, i tried to just forget about it after taking the tablet, so that way i wouldn't "talk myself" into having all these side effects.
It seems to be working, although i will wait for another week before i start taking 20mg, as i am unsure if 10 is really doing much at the moment. They say it takes a while to take effect so will leave it for another week then maybe up my dose.
If your struggling during the day, try taking it at night time, you can sleep through most if or any side effects you are having.

oh dear,
Yes anxiety is the WORST, i hope you are ok, and it is really hard to tell your head everything is ok, because this is all new to us. lets face it, it is scary taking new medication, i googled everything from the worst side effects to none, and i felt like there were more bad reviews than good so it took me weeks before i started the medication.
I am taking them for depression, i have a little anxiety, bought on by worrying too much! Its really great to read these threads :-)
hi, i lost 2 stone was like a stick,(no appetite at all) was given citalopram 20mg 1st week didnt see much second week started to eat and saw a small light at the end of the tunnel, now on the 12 week of these tablets have put on half stone, still have bad days but the bad ones are now a little more manageable, have been told that depending, these tabs can take a long time to mend you, think months rather than days and if you can see glimmers of hope you are moving in the right direction, it is scary losing weight like that frightened me very much, but stick with it,im here if you need to chat, john
