hi all, just wonder if anyone else had a bad reaction to movieprep. was halfway through my prep when i got agonising pain in my stomach unrelated to bowel movement i was practically on my knees and tempted to ring the doc, in the process of emptying my bowel the pain subsided somewhat. however given that i was diagnosed with barretts oesaphagus some time ago and my stomach intolerent of most foods that the movieprep caused a bad reaction and maybe an infrction in my tummy. i do have a stomach ct scan next week and maybe that will tell me more. as i cannot take the second lot of my prep im cancelling my procedure as my bowel would not be empty enough. so has anyone else had such a bad reaction to the prep?
HI, I too have barretts and have had moviprep but not knowing what to expect i just thought that it must be that unpleasant and very painful. The pain i went through was awful but as i didnt know any different, i just carried on and took it all. what did bother me was that the emptying of the bowels continued for 2 days with pain. Im presuming this is because of my barretts and because of my nissin funduplication surgery.
All i know is, i wont ever have moviprep again. I totally understand you not carrying on taking it.
