Hello Ladies, I am hoping someone can offer some advice or reassurance. I am two years since my last period and for the last 6 months or so having struggled to stay awake. Even if I get 10 hours sleep I am counting down the hours till I can go back to bed. Generally I am not a good sleeper, never have been, averaging about 5-6 hours a night but I can sleep the clock round now and still don't want to get up. I am still having hot flushes and night sweats so that isn't helping I expect but what I really want to know is, "Does anyone else feel constantly tired?" Many thanks in advance Carol

When i entered peri 3 yrs ago i had this. Crashing fatigue. I had it so bad that sometime i could not climb the steps. Once i couldn't make it to the living room from the kitchen. I lied on the kitchen floor believe it or not till it i could of found the strength to make it to my bedroom. It will pass. I do not feel it any more thank God. Hang in there. Take care
that sounds like me somedays, i sit on the kitchen floor whilst waiting for things to cook :/ x
this had been one of my worst symtons and ive had countless! sometimes im exhausted all day like i can just shut my eyes, sometimes it suddenly comes over me and i have to sit down. now ive had 7.30 hours sleep only waking once and im struggling to get out of bed just totally exhausted another struggle of a day a head waiting for bedtime to come around again! x
