Someone have anything similar to this? I've had belching for months that seem quite vicious in the middle of my throat. It's really gross but honestly the only way to relieve the pressure that builds up in my stomach. Also, for the past few weeks (maybe 5-6) I have had a sore throat the majority of the day. It seems to be worse in the morning and doesn't have any sign of slowing down. It almost feels like an excess amount of mucus is in my throat and I can't manage to handle it all. Anyone else have something like this? I am so worried about my throat and I am wondering if my intense burping is causing throat pain. Not sure what to do! I've been in the doctor in the past for stomach and bowel pains, but nothing has been diagnosed yet and I'm wondering if this could be related. Thanks!
I have this too, recently been diagnosed with GERD after an endoscopy. Check in with your GP and you can trial some straight forward meds to see if it eases.
Could be any number of things including acid reflux. It could be gas, h pylori, gastritis or IBS especially if you have lower abdominal pain that moves about.
Omeprezole the key ingredient of nexium is a proton pump inhibitor. Try it. It may work.
