Hello,
For about a fortnight, I have been experiencing this odd, cold and minty sensation in my throat and I am not sure if it is to do with acid reflux. I have a very cold, almost 'minty' sensation in my mouth all the time. it feels like the sensation you have when you breath in after cleaning your teeth, or after having a strong mint. The sensation is not irritated - just cold and tingly.
History: I am a man, 28 years old. I started having indigestion 8 months ago although I used to eat a lot of fibre and take very good care of my eating habits. I consulted a doc 2 months back and he said I have developed lactose intolerence so i quit on milk. I only have soy milk now and avoid tea-coffee. I have yogurt though.
Any inputs would be grateful.
Regards,
Juggy
Yes i get that feeling and other symptoms too. My gp thinks it's acid reflux so i am on pantoprazole and waiting for an endoscopy.
Thanks! I could also relate it to acid reflux but wanted to avoid alopathic medicines. I am trying to take good care of the food intake and timings, if still does not get better, will go to GP.
I had the same thing and tried EVERYTHING. Trust me I couldn't figure it out. I found out that it has to do with acid reflex and it has to do with PROBIOTICS. I literally went down to the health store GNC and got the most common pro biotic bills a month supply and two hours later the feeling has been gone. Also I took double the recommended dose but honestly it does have to do with health and eating. Make sure to drink lots of fluid and nothing spicy and don't eat 3 hours before bed. Try to eat bland foods and small amounts a lot of times rather then a lot only a few times. Good luck to you all. I hope this helps! And also stay away from ant acids and anti inflammatorys. They will make it worse.
