I started off feeling like my vagina was swollen. then alittle itchy then I got white little things around vulva like cottage cheese. I dont know if it's because I scratch myself but it my skin feels like its opening . I am not sure if it is a yeast infection or something more serious like an STD I only have bought monistat but it burns then it calms down tomorrow I'm going to get fluconazole pill to see if that helps.. any thoughts
Hi, cottage cheese discharge is the classic symptom of a yeast infection. Getting Fluconazole is a good idea. It's usually effective but can take a few days to reach its full effect so don't stress too much.
well the itching and cottage cheese like discharge makes it pretty likely that it's just a yeast infection. Some pharmacies and stores sell over the counter medication for yeast infections so maybe try your luck with those if the medication you are trying now doesn't help
As stated above already, but keep in mind that you keep using the meds as intended, even if you feel better in a shorter amount of time,
