hi... ive gotten sick over the past 2 days and have had a cough. but because Ive been coughing so much.... i now get a sharp quick stab in my head, with every cough now. kicks my health anxiety into high gear.... thinking the worst. anybody else experience headaches with a cough??? im in need of help!! afraid of anyursum or tumor
hello i live in the uk and theres a nasty cold and cough going around which i have caught of my children. i have been coughing a lot and its given me the same as you with headaches. this is normal with coughs and can give headaches. just take some painkillers and relax.
its called a headache … research shows lots of people get them! goodluck

This is totally normal, have you ever strained with coughing so much that your neck muscles tightened and cramped really bad? I have had that many times with a bad cough. A headache is no different, the muscles on your head are being strained from coughing so much. Sometimes it’s your forehead, facial muscles, sometimes your neck. It’s all relative =)
Yes Christina my headaches were so bad when i cleared my throat it hurt. Or if i bent down my head would hurts. I found a neurologist and i was diagnosed with intracranial Hypotension. Low pressure of the brain. Due to a leak in my Spinal Column that needed to heal on its own. It took 1 1/2 years. I was freaked about it. But I back and feel great. I’m on Celexa fir the anxiety which for me is a winder drug.
