So. I been haveing these problems for months... Maybe a year.. I have congested nose. Feels like I have post nasal drip. Alot of thick white mucas in my throat. I think it's makeing it hard to swallow like my throat is tight. . Also I could feel my food going down my esphogoues... I can still eat.. just slow to go down....

I've seen and ent about different problems so after I resolved those I told him bout these he put me on omprozole. 20mg a day it was giving me bad chest pain. I took it for a week and stopped it and the chest pain went away so I know that ppi not good for me... My aniexty has been up due to Dr google bout the swallowing problem.. so I went to see a gi Dr and I'ma be haveing a barium x-ray soon. But I do notice I do get burning.. so I guess acid reflux for quieter awhile not to bad. I never did anything bout it... At all.

So now I think I may have esphogoities that why I can feel my food go down... And either the gerd got all the way up or I may have lpr to... No lumps anywhere I don't think I have cancer in any of it. No pain unless it's from the acid like a dull type chest pain burning sensation... So I cut back the coffee an soda now I just need to control the acid drop the inflammation. Change my diet then drop all pills... Is what I think cuz as of today I barley felt my food go down at all only in my throat no where else.

Seems my gerd is worse when I sit down as well sense I'm a truck driver I sit alot. I'm 25 years of age. I do smoke. O weight bout 150 all my life.. I'm not loseing weight. I'm still always hungry. I have alot of energy still so I'm guessing those are all good signs my blood is normal my lungs are good. Last November I went threw a spell of pneumonia (what a cacth huh) that when they did all the x-rays blood ekg at hospital cuz I went in for chest pain.

I know no one is a Dr I'm just asking does it sound like esphogoities? I know I can get the scope I already had a MRI on my brain due to other health reason was normal beside swollon sinues. So I'm already in the hole 600 or more for that. So I'm trying to evoid another 600 bucks if I can.. take care of this year my self cuz like I said I never did anything bout it cuz I wasn't too sure what to do.. but after research I've been putting all the thing together

But dam Dr google freaked me the f out now I'm scared.. but I don't think I did to much damage yet..

It is possible that it's gerd.  I get chest pains when I took acid reducers so I stopped taking them....I have had so many tests to rule stuff out, and held off on endoscopy.  I changed my diet and eat smaller meals.....it has helped, but I still get pain below the sternum and get the same feeling you have in the throat.  I am considering the endoscopy because that is the only way they can see what is going on in the lining of the stomach.  Barium swallow tests don't show that.  I think maybe I have a hitial hernia and that explains the pain below my sternum.  It's peace of mind if anything.

Ya it is piece of mind. But the only thing money wise I got two kids house. I know my health is inportant but I don't think I have done that much damage yet. The barium swallow will show the HH fer sure and narrowing of esphogoues tumor etc. . Like I said I had a chest x-ray not that long ago I'm sure if I had a tumor growing it would have shown something on the outside of my esphogoues. But idk.. I'm lil freaked out but not trying to... I'm young healthy fit.. no cancer in familey and my diet not to bad just alot of coffee and soda in past but I'm sure that cuased alot of inflamation specially without treating the acid reflux but I'm starting a. New ppi today

Try Zantac and Gaviscon. Don’t need prescription and both helped me. I had to quit coffee and pop.
