For about 2 months I’ve been seeing crystal clear squiggly worm looking floaters moving across my vision. Had cateract surgery last August 2 and 23. Had Restor lens put in. Have been on this forum talking about other problems before. Got lots of good advice.also had a Chalazion removed today. Just wondering if there is a special eye drop for these wormy like floaters . Will it just take more time for all to go away ? Thanks for anyone that might know!

I've got them too they are so annoying like ripples over my eyes.. I've had mine since January's cataract procedure there are so many.. See through ones and really dark ones. I I've seen quite a few suffering with this I'm hoping to see someone with a fix.
Hi Steve the Dr. didn’t really address that when I told him after the chalazion surgery?? I was very disappointed in his answer. He said floaters had a mind of their own ,something like that ?? I will be getting a second opinion after healing from this surgery today!
Hi Marie yes they r so annoying! After my cateract surgery last August 2and 23 i had spider webs and flying flies effects! They finally went away as the Dr. said they would! Been seeing these crystal looking squiggly worms couple months . I can read anything ..see tv good ..drive some but see theses things so it makes little scary to drive ! I hem dark color slacks etc. I will be getting second opinion next! So disappointed! Hope u find help also!!

I’m sorry to hear you are seeing squiggly objects in your eyes they are floaters. Please see a retina specialist. Floaters are complications of cataract surgery it could happen sometimes.
I have floaters when I stare white light but it doesn’t bother me anymore only if I stare at it like the light in my bathroom mirror it’s not bad as yours. I drive to work at night I don’t see floaters only certain lights.
The reason why I suggest to see a retina specialist so they can see what is going on. It could be vitreous ( liquid part behind your eye) that is casting a shadows called floaters like squiggly stuff. Make an appointment when you can. Good luck. I pray for you

I'm totally with 06486. Please keep in mind that I'm pre- not post-op (tomorrow!), but the one thing that I've been told is to IMMEDIATELY contact the retina specialist if I have sudden lights or extra floaters--extra because we all get them every so often. I'm going in with super-thin retinas, lattice degeneration and holes, so I'm more at risk for retinal detachment. It's probably nothing or just something that will pass, but when it comes to your vision, don't cross your fingers and hope. I'd definitely talk to your doc. If you're not comfortable with his/her reply, get a second opinion ASAP.

Hi Janice again. I've just been looking up on the floaters since mine are annoyingly the hell out of me. They can be taken away by lazer treatment or... If your floaters do not improve over time, or if they significantly affect your vision, a vitrectomy may be recommended. This is a surgical operation to remove the vitreous humour in your eye along with any floating debris and replace it with a saline (salty) solution... sounds drastic but its good to know I guess. Other than that apparently it takes about 6 mths BUT my right eye is now at the 6 mth stage and if anything they are worse.
How are your floaters presently? Asking because I suffer from same.
