Ct results dont know what it means

Hi got my ct results just wondered if anyoneknows what it means.

It says that gallbladder is slightly abnormal , underdistention with a phygian cap configuration they have booked an ultrasound for a focussed uss assessment of this

Thanks lorraine xx

I googled and found this: http://radiopaedia.org/articles/phrygian-cap so the 'phygian cap' part just means that it looks unusual but there is nothing wrong with it - a minor deformity you were born with and no treatment needed for that.  Good luck with the investigation and hope it goes well.

Thanks tom

Ive been having burning pains under my right rib for just over a year so if your having symptoms will they remove it x

From what you say they're waiting for the U/S first. They won't take out the gallbladder unless they think on balance it needs to come out.  Have a look at the other posts on gallbladders.
