Hi, I am an uncircumcised male, 17 y/o. It's been a little over a month now since i had a cut on glans (vertical, just below the peehole) which hasn't healed. I have also noticed redness/ little purple-red dots on glans ever since. I haven't had sex ever so that rules out the possibility of a STD. I also got diagnosed for UTI, but the reports came negative. I did NOT experience pain/ itching or burning sensation while peeing and i am able to fully retract my penis and clean it. I ve been using Canesten cream for about a week now which has helped a little with redness (nothing significant, but the intensity of redness is reduced) but i am extremely worried about the cut. Please note that the pictures attached were clicked a week ago so the redness is not that worse but the cut remains the same (or has insignificantly worsened idk) Please help. Should i continue to apply Canesten and what so i do about the cut.
Do NOT apply the canesten - healing penile skin is not what it is for!
How did you get the cut?
The purple / red dots are naturally present on your penis, certainly using something like canesten will make them more noticeable.
Depending on how the cut occurred the amount of time it is taking to heal is NOT unusual.
Can you post a current photo in the same as photo 1 but taken in bright daylight for further comment …
