Which country are you in? Look up IC Network on internet, lots of good advice there. if you can bear it get a urologist to prescribe bladder instillations. Look up over the counter medication too. increase fluid intake during flares to dilute urine, yes you’ll pee more but it wont hurt so much.
alpha blockers like flomax have horrible side effects but they do help.
I would also look into a low oxalate diet. There is a yahoo group called trying low oxalates with lots of useful information.
Microcrystaline kidneys tones not detectable on imaging could irritate bladder.
