Depression, anxiety & perimenopausal

I've been battling away for the past 4 months with what I was certain depression. Luckily I've been able to fight it & do my usual every day things. I have been having different different symptoms & my gp reckons I'm perimenopausal but won't do a blood test as I'm still having periods. I'm absolutely terrified about perimenopause/menopause as I really feel like I'm going crazy at times. I'm 20+ years on/off, up/down on citalopram currently on 30mg. I don't know what I could be put on medication wise to help me along the way with perimenopause. Anybody out there who having same problem. Feeling desperate. 😢
